Each April, a reflective weekend conference at the Museum draws attendees from across the country. It features American popular culture scholars, theatre historians, former troupers, intriguing research and lively discussion. Participating in the joy of a bygone era makes this conference different from any other theatre history program.

“Golden Memories”

The conference will focus on the variety of entertainment that toured the heartland of America and why it is worth remembering. It will also focus on the work of specialized and regional museums and the value of the interpretive and preservation work they do. Papers may include but are not limited to:
