Midwest Old Threshers Sweet Sixteen Program

Sweet Sixteen contestants are the official hostesses of the Reunion.

Each contestant volunteers in numerous positions around the Old Threshers grounds, such as assisting our guests, answering questions, and lending a helping hand to our many non-profit organizations’ booths. Each of the contestants is judged on their volunteerism, a presentation along with an interview, knowledge of Old Threshers, and their overall hospitality. The Sweet Sixteen contestants can be seen at the Harvest Parade, at the Carousel, the Paul Anderson Building, and strolling the grounds in the period dress for women of the late 1800s to early 1900s who lived in the Midwest and worked on their local farms.
