Participate Your Company in the Harvest Parade
Midwest Old Threshers holds the annual Harvest Parade in downtown Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Every year on Wednesday at 3:30 pm, the day before the Reunion starts. The Harvest Day Parade is the official kick-off event for each year's Reunion.
Parade Guidelines:
- All entries must be consistent with the theme of “Midwest Old Threshers” (Bandanas, Overalls, Straw, Etc)
- Distribution of political material is allowed during the parade.
- Companies, organizations, and politicians may display signs.
- Candy can be distributed during the parade.
- All entries must keep pace with the parade.
- Line up begins along Sheaffer Park Circle facing north starting at 2PM. Best would be come up S Walnut St from the South to Sheaffer Park. (Please refrain from abandoning floats and reserving spaces. You will have to move closer to accommodate everyone)
